Kronkosky Place

in the programs that we offer through the center.  MIDS is ‘user friendly’ and it offers an easy way for us to track an individual’s participation in our Home-delivered Meal Program, our on-site Congregate Meal Program and our Transportation Program. Soon it will be able to track all members who also participate in our Activity Programs.  Each member of the center is issued a unique bar-coded identification card that can be scanned multiple times during the day to track their participation at the center.  The system will print a daily report based on the information and even print a receipt if required.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION DATA SYSTEM

MIDS provides the following for in-house meals:

Congregate

Meals-On-Wheels

Membership Reassessment Dates are automatically highlighted by MIDS.

All agencies that receive funding from the state or the federal government under Title III or Title XX programs are required to maintain authorization forms for each member that receives services under these programs.  These Client Intake Forms are required to be annually updated by the client and re-submitted by the agency prior to the anniversary date.  The MIDS system helps you by producing an automated meal roster that changes color when a member’s form is within 30 days of expiring!

MIDS can automatically transfer a member’s Client Intake information to the new form.

With the simple click of a button, MIDS will pre-fill a form with the transferred infor- mation.  The client then needs to just verify the information and sign the new form !!

Less hassle and less time !!

MIDS can track home-delivered meals.

The Meals-on-Wheels module of the system allows the administrator to place each recipient on a predefined route.  It will indicate if the recipient needs more than one meal or if there are dietary restrictions. The system can also produce driver sheets with specific names, addresses and other information for the home-delivered meal routes.

MIDS can track on-site congregate meals.

The Congregate Meal module of the system can provide a daily roster of members’ lunch reservations.  Names can be added; daily reservations can be cancelled; and members can be ‘checked in’ when they arrive.  It’s an easy click of the button.  The roster can be used for member’s signatures when required or a member’s badge can be scanned as proof of arrival and receipt of a meal.

MIDS can provide comprehensive reporting.

On a daily basis the MIDS system can provide a running total of the all the meals needed for that day, which is a great benefit for food-cost control and increased kitchen efficiency.  In addition, the user can track all the meals served through the program by a wide range of categories, including Authorized, Guests, Under 60 and Unfunded. Reports can be issued on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis.  The report also includes an ‘unduplicated’ client total, which shows the actual number, and names, of each different member or guest that use the facility on any given day.

MIDS is an on-line subscription service.

By accessing MIDS online, the system can be used remotely or on-site.  All that is required is a log-in and a password to access the MIDS secure system via a website!  MIDS is easy to use and very affordable.

The operation modules for tracking transportation services and activities are still in the development stage.  Once they are completed MIDS will be able to offer your agency a convenient, easy-to-use and accurate method to track your members, produce your rosters and help keep your records and reports in compliance.

Here are a few exclusive features offered through the system:

MIDS  has been developed and is distributed by Tiger Dynamics Corporation.  For more information or for a  free online interactive demonstration of MIDS go to www.tidyn.com.

As a large Meals-On-Wheels provider for our area, we use the MIDS system on a daily basis to print new  intake and assessment forms requests for service.  We can also print our intake and assessment forms for those that are due for reassessment by State rules.

MIDS also provides driver sheets for each driver that specifies name, address, amount of meals being delivered plus any special items such as no fish, no milk, etc.

End of month reporting is done with a single click of a button!  The most commonly used reports are Funded and Unfunded for Home Delivered Meals.  These reports show recipient name and date that each meal(s) was received.

Transportation is currently being developed.
